Here comes the sun, do do do dooooo...

Hello blog land!

My name is Lindsey and welcome to my blog :)

My  nickname as far back as I can remember has always been 'Sunshine'. People from all corners of my life have called me this. People with no connections to each other what so ever. From my childhood neighbors, to my current boss, to the cafeteria worker in the grilled cheese line in college... In short, it is much more than coincidence and too much to ignore. So I go with it. As a symbol of life, power, energy and strength... Well, I suppose I could do worse :) So, the sun has been an ever present symbol for most of my life. Hence, the first half of my blog title... and the tattoo below :)

As for the 'studio' part, I suppose its self explanatory that I am an artist. I have my bachelors in Fine Arts and am continuing my education in jewelry arts. I thrive on creativity and am inspired by everything around me. I have not, however, been working as much on my art as I would like recently. Which is part of the reason for this blog: to push myself to be more creative and to hopefully, by sharing through my blog, inspire others to do the same.

Further than that though, I hope to document the adventures of our little family as we travel the world with the military. To document the new homes, the milestones, the new friends, the many beginnings and endings that come with this kind of life. I have a variety of interests and I hope to share my explorations with you. Yes, YOU! :)
